The fasces, composed of an axe in a bundle of rods, symbolizes authority, while the sword represents military power1. The motto "DROIT ET AVANT" (Right and Forward) is inscribed in blue enamel on the upper part of the wreath
N.S. Meyer Inc. was a prominent manufacturer of military insignia, medals, and related accessories based in just-arrived York. Founded in the early 20th century, the company gained renown for its production of high-quality military decorations and regalia1. N.S. Meyer Inc. operated for almost a hundred years, until 2000, when it was acquired by Vanguard.
