More information about Vintage Japanese Musical Jewelry Box.

Stunning vintage Japanese musical jewelry box shaped like a grand piano. Crafted with elegant white porcelain adorned with hand-painted floral designs and accented with gold-tone metal details, including a heart-shaped medallion on the lid. Plays the elegant “Polonaise” by Oginski. Made in Japan, this piece is in excellent condition for its age, with minor wear and slight scuffs, but remains very well-preserved. A perfect addition for collectors or a one-of-a-kind gift . I’m not certain which brand this is, but I think it might be Sankyo Seiki. I estimate this musical jewelry box was likely made around the 1940s to 1950s. and the metal parts are likely crafted from brass or a brass alloy, given the gold-tone finish.
