This set belonged to my family and was brought over to the US when my mother moved from Germany in 1963. We never used the set, but I can't speak to its use before that time. There are a total of 51 pieces which include 8 dinner forks, 12 desert forks, 6 table knives, 6 serving spoons, , 6 dinner spoons. Also includes 13 serving pieces which include 3 butter knives, 1 sugar tong, 1 cake server, and other pieces (please refer to the photos.
